Alex Groothuis is an accomplished and experienced basketball coach who has served as high school dean of students and head coach of the men's basketball team at Coral Springs Charter School since 2010. From 2003 to 2006, Alex Groothuis was the assistant coach to Dereck Whittenburg at Fordham University.

1. Ed Conlin- After playing for Fordham, Colin was selected fifth overall by the Syracuse Nationals in the 1955 NBA Draft. He played seven seasons between the Nationals, Detroit Pistons, and Philadelphia Warriors and registered an average of 10.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game.
2. Dan O'Sullivan - A native of Bronx, New York, O'Sullivan was never drafted, but signed as a free agent with the New Jersey Nets in 1990 and went on to play six seasons with five different teams. The 6-foot-10 center finished his career during the 1995-96 season as a member of the Toronto Raptors.
3. Smush Parker - A 6-foot-4 point guard from New York City, Parker played five seasons in the NBA from 2002 to 2008. He spent the majority of his career with the Los Angeles Lakers, where he averaged 11.3 points, 3.2 assists, and 2.9 rebounds through 164 regular season games.
